our afternoons
i wonder what it was about that afternoon's walk through the crowded Thamel road that held us together, even in the crowd- the noise, cars honking and people brushing past us. the day, long gone, but we linger on those narrow streets, making our way through the crowd. sometimes, stumble. sometimes, we are sitting under the awnings of that second-hand motorbike showroom, in Lainchaur. Alongside, in a silence so deep, we're almost refraning from holding out to touch one another's hands.
