Rain?
Rain-
rain.
Rain!
Rain;

St.Valentine's Day?

an arbitrary day, made up of first nervous motorcycle rides, chocolate bars, earrings, cards, nervous hands, anger, jealousy, madness, forgetfulness, temptations, the need to hurt each other- they are what this day is.

Shoes for Sabina

It's always trousers, diapers, socks, tee-shirts, jumpers, I plan for Sabina.
Sometimes, a new wheel-chair.

You write to me

You wrote:
i'm beginning to think
(just inchoate strands of thoughts)
that there must be songs waiting to be graphed--in the deep infinity around us:
if we can only keep from drowning.

And I thought:
there was a time i was drowning
in thoughts like foaming waves
and I, the novice swimmer- gasping for what must have been you:
half a minute of your hands on the small of my back,
is all it took to heal

i am learning to love how the tall buildings cut through the early morning fog to come into existence. the fog is good for the squalor- it somehow, makes it look less crowded.
i'm also learning to love the blueness of the kathmandu sky on lazy saturday afternoons, and sprinting through the streets like i was in a hurry to get somewhere.
but it's sunday morning again and am wondering why you leave this hollow in the spaces around me.

capturing
my favourite blossoms
for you,
not knowing

now, i can't wait for them to wither

Departure?

the clock
makes a noise
against the blankness
of my insides

a farewell should have had ceremony
