Just another morning

Kathmandu wakes up...to automobiles, dust-laden lanes, garbage-heaped roads and footsteps rushing everywhere.

I wake-up to a single memory.

My mornings linger on your words, pauses, phrases, unfinished sentences and suspends itself on an infinite ellipsis. I search my mailbox for you.

I discover abandon.

I have no way of knowing if the words etched on my mind are yours too.
