On the sidewalks, we're us again

The sidewalks are ours again.

The passersby, cars- new.
You and I- ancient
on these sidewalks.

I look up at your face
glowing with the energy
of your secret diety.

The walk lengthens,
it begins to drizzle,
stops.

We walk
the sidewalks,
where you and I will always be ancient.

Only on these sidewalks,
we belong to one another.
